The
Pro Basketball Handicapping Software Version 2007 consists of 6 basic
sections.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
SECTION
#1 - GAME DATABASE
This section
of the software program is where all games in the database is maintained. The game
database includes games that have been played (usually the last five (5) seasons) and games that have not been played (current season). The Game
Database includes the scores, closing lines and opening lines.
You are able
to display and print the game database by the following:
BY SCHEDULE
(By Season)
- List all games in the schedule with scores, opening lines
and closing lines.
BY INDIVIDUAL TEAM - ALL GAMES (By Season)
- Lists all games (road and
home) for an individual team for each season in the database.
BY INDIVIDUAL TEAM - ROAD GAMES (By Season)
- Lists all road games for
an individual team for each season in the database.
BY INDIVIDUAL TEAM - HOME GAMES (By Season)
- Lists all home games for an
individual team for each season in the database.
BY OPPOSING TEAMS (By Season)
- Lists all
games for the selected opposing teams for each season in the database.
SECTION
#2 - HANDICAP GAMES
This section
of the software program consists of the following features:
HANDICAP
GAMES - Games can
be handicapped using three different algorithms.
- The Sports Judge (Formula)
- By Schedule (Raw Data)
- At The Venue (Raw Data)
- Consensus (above 3 algorithms)
SELECTION
SETTINGS - This
feature allows you to tell the software the desired Overlay (point
advantage versus the line) that you want before a play is recommended.
TEST
SETTINGS - This
feature allows you to test any Selection Setting changes by handicapping
any range of dates for current and past seasons.
HANDICAPPING
STATISTICS -
Handicapping Statistics are maintained for all plays recommended by the
software. Handicapping Statistics are maintained by the following:
- Road Favorite Plays
- Road Underdog Plays
- Home Favorite Plays
- Home Underdog Plays
- Over Plays
- Under Plays
SECTION
#3 - MAINTENANCE
ENTER/EDIT LINES
- Game Lines and Over/Under Lines are entered and edited in this section
of the program. Both Opening and Closing Lines are maintained by the
system.

SCORES - Game
Scores are entered and edited in this section of the program.
ENTER/EDIT
SCHEDULE - Current
and future schedules are entered and edited in this section of the
program.
ENTER/EDIT
TEAMS - Teams
(Name, Conference and Division) are entered and edited in this section of
the program.
SECTION
#4 - STATISTICS
NBA STATISTICS
- This section of the program maintains and ranks the teams by the
following statistics:
- Road, Home and Total Power Rating
- Road, Home and Total Offense
- Road, Home and Total Defense
- Road, Home and Total Actual Win/Loss
- Road, Home and Total Against The Spread as Favorite
- Road, Home and Total Return On Investment as Favorite
- Road, Home and Total Against The Spread as Underdog
- Road, Home and Total Return On Investment as Underdog
INDIVIDUAL
TEAM STATISTICS -
The following statistics are maintained by individual team by Road Games,
Home Games and All Games:
- Average Offense (Points Scored)
- Average Defense (Points Given Up)
- Actual Win/Loss Record
- Against The Spread Win/Loss Record
- Return On Investment
SECTION
#5 - UTILITIES
MERGE DATA FILES
- This feature allows you to merge into your Game Database the Daily,
Weekly and Season To Date Data Files that you can download from our Web
Site.
REBUILD
TEAM FILES - This
feature allows you to rebuild the Team Files should the need arise. This
feature is only used should a change in a Team Name, Conference or
Division occur.
CREATE
NEW SEASON FILES -
This feature creates new Season Files and Team Files at the beginning of a
new season.
SECTION #6 - OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
MANUAL
- The Operation Instructions (Manual) are a part of the system and can be
accessed and printed in it's entirety or by individual topic.
HELP
SCREENS -
Regardless of where you are at in the system you can get operational
instructions simply by selecting Help.
