THOROUGHBRED
HANDICAPPING Version 9.0
(2003 Release) |
Thoroughbred Handicapping System Version
9.0 is our 7th Thoroughbred Racing release since PDS Sports was founded in 1982.
If you are a Thoroughbred Racing fan then Version 9.0 is a "MUST HAVE".
With Version 9.0 you can handicap the
races using either the industry standard SPEED RATINGS and TRACK VARIANTS or the
popular BEYER RATINGS. Ever race handicapped is maintained as a part of the
system's RACE DATABASE. New tracks and track categories can now be added or
edited by the user. The Sports Judge's CLASS, SPEED, FORM, and PACE algorithms
have been improved using state of the art handicapping techniques. Version 9.0 is much faster than our older versions and is much more user friendly. The time
it takes to handicap a full race card has been cut drastically for your
convenience. The new and improved CLASS, SPEED, FORM and PACE algorithms
produce more accurate POWER RATINGS resulting in more WINNERS and a greater
RETURN ON INVESTMENT.
Version 9.0 now makes distinctions between
MAIDEN, MAIDEN CLAIMING, CLAIMING, STAKES and ALLOWANCE races. Distinctions are
also made between DIRT and TURF races. Version 9.0 predicts the order of
anticipated finish in each race handicapped based on each horse's POWER RATING.
The larger the variance between the top POWER RATED horse and the rest of the
field, the larger the flat wager win percentage. The larger the variance
between the top 3 POWER RATED horses and the rest of the field, the larger the
exacta box wager win percentage. Version 9.0 is a DYNAMITE for exotic wagering. The
Thoroughbred Handicapping Software Version 9.0 consists of 5 basic
sections.
